After some days with few migrating raptors and some rain, today about 300 birds of prey were observed here at the Aspromonte National Park. It was the first day with good numbers of juvenile Honey Buzzards and was recorded also the passage of about 80 Lesser Kestrels. Here below the Strait of Messina from the western watchpoint (picture taken by Giovanni Cumbo).
